Buraimi Fort
In response to H.M. Sultan Qaboos's decision to build an imposing H.Q. for his Northern regiment stationed in the small town of Buraimi, on the border with Al Ain, Huckle & Partners designed a fort in the style of the traditional forts of Oman which originated during the Portuguese occupation. I was put in charge of designing the details, making the overall design work, and supervising the construction.
